Since its market introduction, the Victor Vturn-Q200 has been delivering flexible manufacturing solutions for all industry sectors. This flexibility has now been extended with the expansion of the 52mm maximum bar capacity to 65mm.
With three milling turrets with C and Y-axis, twin spindles with Direct Drive Spindle motors (DDS) and up to 48 live tools available, the Vturn-Q200 has long been regarded as the benchmark in flexible one-hit machining of small and medium sized components. However, Victor has extended the potential for the Vturn-Q200 by offering a Large Spindle Bore (LSB) option, which increases the spindle bore to accept bar diameters up to 65mm from the standard 52mm. This now enables Victor customers with a requirement for high levels of automation to manufacture complex one-hit components up to 65mm.
This increased capacity enables the Vturn-Q200 to lend itself to larger component manufacturers whilst existing Victor customers will be able to offer the same lightening fast productivity rates for a wider variety and dimensional capacity than ever before. With the existing model proving a ‘must-have’ turning centre for forward thinking and highly productive manufacturers, the length between centres (850mm), swing over bed (330mm) and maximum turning diameter (298mm) will remain the same.
